Welcome to the research arm of my leadership journey.

As part of my Doctorate in Business Administration (Healthcare Leadership), I’m exploring a topic that’s both deeply personal and professionally urgent: the intersectional barriers and enablers to career progression for minority ethnic women in the NHS. Despite decades of diversity initiatives, representation at board level remains disproportionately low—especially for women of colour.

This research is not just academic. It’s a call to reimagine what inclusive leadership really looks like, grounded in evidence, lived experience, and a drive for systemic change.

Here, I’ll share reflections, emerging insights, and thought pieces from each stage of the research process. From interrogating the data to challenging leadership norms, this space is dedicated to bringing fresh perspectives to an old problem—and inviting you to be part of the conversation.

Whether you're an aspiring leader, ally, policymaker, or simply curious—thank you for joining me. Let’s make leadership more representative, more equitable, and more human.
